I'm so happy that you and airedevon joined in our little crew!

I'm 31.
I'm an illustrator and, sometimes, an italian-japanese translator. I love gijoe since my childhood. My original collection included 52-53 action figures and only few vehicles, so i builded up them with Lego. I used to draw out my figures every single day to let them watch the GIJoe tv show close to me
I forgot them for about eight years but they were carefully stored. Few years ago (2001?), a summer day, in a toy shop, i saw the lanard corps action figures, so similar to the gijoe vintage ones and at once my love for gijoe rose again. Thanks to e-bay and on-line stores i have now more than 1000 action figures and, at long last, vehicles and playsets too.
And thanks to the italian customs duties i've always an empty pocket

A regard to the new affiliate of this forum.
Airedevon,D5 and Jaguarxj you are the welcome ones and I hope that you can always bring us good news about the Joe world.
I am a Real Canadian Joe and at the age of 9 (1985) I have moved to Italy.
Obviously in Canada everyone knows G.I.Joe for which it is impossible not be influenced.
In Italy things are different,
toys have dissapeared after little time,the cartoon was transmitted for few years,and I never seen the comic.
As it regards me 23 years of dark,but finally in 2008 I have started to collect (toy line).
I looked for figures of virtuous guitarists on e-bay (Joe Satriani and Steve Vai,I don't believe they exist),but I have found these .... the "ARAH".
Initially I have bought from America the 25th,but once open one,I realized that there was something wrong.
Then I have resold them and started to buy ARAH because they remember me my infancy. This is what I was seeking for,now I possess 450 figures and 15 vehicles,for now i really don't mind when I will end.
I only buy loose figures and trying to create a Cobra army (builder),my favorite are:
Gung-Ho
Crimson Guard
In the future I will get my hands on more Crimson Twins,and change their heads with other characters,I'll create a new special team because I like their uniforms (25-30 units).
I hope to hear from you guys often on this forum !!

Hi Alex, it's ok maybe were busy at that time .. Nice to read all is ok with ur school... I have my fingers crossed for you.
Yeah I think napolitanjoe has put a message in the international section at yojoe. So this is how I found it My collection is getting slowly bigger but not much happening lately. Just bought some armybuilders but not much MOC or MISB. Still looking for a few specific items but not luck so far.... but have found some really rare items lately hehehhe

If I find the time I will share with you all ok
