Nello specifico il testo delle inserzioni in generale riporta questo nella descrizione:
This auction is a sale for the former GI Joe toy sculptor Bill Merklein. I am selling these on his behalf and all sales from these auctions minus ebay and paypal fees will be going to him. Bill sculpted numerous GI Joe figures in the 1980's as a contract sculptor for Hasbro. He would receive a finished product figure from Hasbro once the figure had made it to production. This figure presented was a figure sculpted by Mr. Merklein during the pre-production process.
A few carded figures in this lot have variations from normal joe figures and could be considered first run or pre-production figures. The majority are normal release figures. Some of these figures also have Merklein's mailing sticker attached to the card as he would use these to show his work. The address was from the 80's and is not current so no worries on privacy there.
Again, some of these have variations from normal figures and are noted in the listing, although I very well might have missed something. These cards are not gem mint, he did not store them as a collector, but as work samples. So there will be small dings and dents on all of these. If you are looking for gem mint figures, please don't bid. If you want to own a neat little piece of joe history, please bid away.
Il fine di questo topic non è però pubblicizzare delle aste, ma bensì ricordare chi è Bill Merklein per chi non lo sapesse. Ecco un'intervista molto interessante che vi farà conoscere un personaggio a cui dobbiamo tutti molto!
